CCTV Surveys

We are able to CCTV survey pipes from a domestic 50mm pipeline, up-to mainline 2m dia (and above) pipeline. CCTV drain surveys, and CCTV camera surveys are our specialty. We use an optical robotic, steerable, pan tilt and zoom camera. As shown below right it can lower its gantry and squeeze under smaller pipes.

We also CCTV survey culverts up-to 5m wide and 2.5m high.

Rough terrain, for example silt, mud, stones and rocks, lumps of concrete, wood and trees, are no problem, as our Mainline CCTV cameras (optical robotic units) are on rubber tracks, and are steerable.

So if we can’t climb over it, we can steer around it! And if the going is just too tough, then our ten times optical zoom will finish the CCTV drain survey.

Our CCTV pipe, culvert and drain survey cameras have pan-and-rotate camera heads with 10x optical zoom lenses, and we can remotely adjust the height of the camera too. This gives extra quality small pipeline, mini-mainline and mainline CCTV drain and culvert surveys, and CCTV drain surveys, and CCTV camera surveys.

Maybe your pipe or culvert is flooded. No problem, as our Mainline CCTV survey cameras have remote height adjustable CCTV camera gantries to keep our head above water!

Our Mainline CCTV drain survey cameras are not only able to steer themselves, but can negotiate several complete changes in pipeline direction, (90 degrees or more) or we can turn and climb into a large lateral and investigate it. We can reach 1000m of mainline pipeline from one manhole.

When the survey is done, we can either turn 180 degrees and drive back, or reverse all the way using the rear mounted CCTV camera.

We can provide our CCTV Survey report to you, the client, using the latest WRC codes, and can provide the CCTV Survey Report on a DVD, a hard drive, or a bound hard copy whichever you prefer. The CCTV survey report can also include a GPS position survey, so you can locate hard to find manholes with ease. It can be a “Word” based report, or a full “WRC” coded report in PDF format.
